Congratulations to the Montreal Moose for winning the inaugural Dubai Ice Rink: Year End Atom 4 on 4 Tournament. Both the semi-finals and the finals went to a shoot-out, so you know it was close! Thank you to the Dubai Ice Rink, all the volunteers and all the participants! Final Standing and stats are updated.

This will be the first ever hockey tournament at the Dubai Ice Rink! 4 on 4 is the hockey equivalent to the Rugby 7's; Fewer players, fewer stoppages - more skating and more action! Each team will play 6 round robin games and one play-off game over 2 days. The teams will be even and the competition is bound to be exciting and fun!
Details:
When: December 30th and 31st / Games 0700-1000
Where: Dubai Mall Ice Rink
Format: 8 players + 1 goalie per team
· 22 minute games 4 on 4 with no stoppages in play except for goals and start of shift.
· Minimal coaching. Players to be creative
· 4 teams. Each team gets to play 7 games
· Teams will be created to ensure fairness
Cost: 250 dhs per player. Includes team jersey and winning trophies.
Who’s eligible: Players born 1999, 2000. Exceptions considered on a case by case basis. 1998 Goalies are welcome.
